Experience

A Principal and consulting actuary, Domenic leads Eckler’s Trusteed Plans consulting group and co-leads the pension actuarial practice. He joined Eckler in 2002 upon graduating from the University of Toronto.

Domenic specializes in working with multi-employer and jointly trusteed pension and benefit plans.  He consults on pension matters including extensive work on funding valuations, plan design and restructuring, governance, plan mergers, negotiations and administration. For several clients, Dom provides trustee education and frequently presents at plan membership meetings.

Active in the industry, Dom is a frequent speaker/instructor at conferences and events, a member of advisory boards, and has published several articles regarding pension and benefit topics.  In addition, Dom is actively involved in lobbying governments and regulators regarding pension and benefit issues.

Domenic graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science.  A Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries, Domenic has over 20 years of consulting experience.
