Experience

A Principal in Eckler’s property and casualty consulting practice, Mylène has over 30 years of experience providing a broad range of pricing, financial reporting, predictive modelling, and other actuarial services to a variety of clients, including insurers, industry associations, and provincial rate regulators.

A highly experienced valuation and pricing actuary, Mylène is the appointed actuary for two Canadian insurers. She has extensive experience in the defence of rate filings, including responding to regulators’ information requests and testifying at hearings. She is currently one of the actuaries consulting to the New Brunswick Insurance Board on actuarial matters, including the review of rate filings. Since 2013, she has led Eckler’s review of the IBC CLEAR rate group tables that are used by insurers across Canada.

Mylène has volunteered on committees of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. She regularly attends industry conferences and seminars to keep up to date with the latest regulatory requirements and developments in the actuarial field.

A graduate of Université de Montréal, Mylène is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society.
