Experience
An Eckler Principal since 2012, Jean-François is a retirement consulting actuary with more than 30 years of experience.
He leads the Pension and Benefits team for our Montreal office. Jean‑François counts many years of experience in the field of retirement and investment consulting, and has developed specific expertise in plan design, funding, mergers and acquisitions, accounting, governance, conversions from DB to DC plans and pension risk management. Furthermore, he is a speaker at various conferences on pension and asset management and works in English and in French.
Jean-François has been a member of Eckler’s Board of Directors since 2015.
Before joining Eckler, Jean-François worked in the Montréal office of a leading global professional services firm where he last held the position of National Retirement and Investment practice leader. He sat on the Company’s Canadian Management Committee.
Jean-François is a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries and graduated from Laval University with a Bachelor of actuarial science.
