This year, we celebrate three outstanding individuals who have made a significant impact on our clients, our industry, and our firm through their dedication, expertise, and leadership.
Martin Gascon, FSA, FCIA
Group Benefits Consulting – Montreal
Martin Gascon brings deep actuarial expertise and extensive experience in group benefits consulting, advising major national clients and representing Eckler at industry conferences across Canada. Known for his strategic thinking and collaborative approach, he consistently delivers creative, data‑driven solutions that help organizations navigate an evolving benefits landscape. Martin is committed to advancing industry knowledge through thought leadership and professional engagement, drawing on his strong technical foundation as a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries. He holds a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Paul Rossi
Investment Consulting – Toronto
With more than 20 years of experience serving defined contribution and defined benefit plan sponsors, Paul Rossi is widely recognized for his expertise in governance, investment strategy, record‑keeper selection and retirement plan design. His client‑focused advisory approach is complemented by his ability to introduce forward‑looking financial wellness and modelling solutions that strengthen long‑term organizational and member outcomes. Paul is also an active contributor to industry education, regularly teaching and presenting to professional audiences while maintaining strong ties to his community through volunteer work. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Murray Wright, FCIA, FFA, C.Act
Pension Consulting – Vancouver
Murray Wright brings two decades of international actuarial experience across Canada and the UK, specializing in risk management, demographic analysis and asset‑liability modelling. His leadership in developing innovative frameworks and forward‑thinking analytical approaches has supported clients facing increasingly complex regulatory and economic environments. Murray is frequently invited to speak at professional events and is well-regarded for translating technical insights into practical strategies that drive measurable value. He holds actuarial designations in Canada, the UK and as a Chartered Actuary, as well as a First‑Class Honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Edinburgh.
