Virtual trustee training seminar

If you are managing a pension plan as a trustee, sponsor, or administrator, we have designed this virtual event to help you understand your roles and responsibilities. This primer is targeted towards persons who have recently been appointed as trustees of pension plans or are new to managing this responsibility for a pension plan sponsor.

The seminar will cover the following topics:

• Understanding your roles and responsibilities under the Trust Deed, Plan Rules and Occupational Pension Benefits Act, Cap 350B
• Interpreting financial information provided for a pension plan such as the actuarial valuation
• Educating plan members on their benefits
