Experience

A Principal in our Montreal-based financial services consulting practice, Jean joined the firm in 2004 when Eckler acquired a portion of Ernst & Young’s (E&Y) Canadian actuarial advisory practice. He joined E&Y in 1998.

Jean has been working for 30 years in the actuarial field, especially in the areas of individual life and accident & sickness insurance. He worked for several years in an insurance company where he developed his expertise in the valuation of liabilities. He was also involved in the Investment Committee where he acquired valuable experience in Asset Liability Management (ALM).

A graduate from Concordia University, Jean is also a Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
