Experience

A Principal in the firm, Greg has more than 30 years’ experience in pension, actuarial and investment consulting. He joined Eckler’s Halifax office in 1993 and moved to Toronto in 2001 to lead the investment consultancy. From 2012 to 2020, Greg led Eckler’s largest Pension and Benefits consulting practice.

With a continued focus on investment consulting, Greg provides advice to a wide range of clients including corporations, public sector organizations, not-for-profits and trusteed plans. He has specialized expertise in establishing asset allocation, investment policy, performance measurement and evaluation, asset and liability modelling and investment manager research and selection.

Greg has a BSc (Hons.) from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS. He obtained his fellowship in the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries in 1994. Before Eckler, Greg spent several years with a global actuarial consulting firm.
