An Eckler Principal, Daniella leads our financial modelling and risk management group. She joined Eckler in 2003, after graduating from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Actuarial Science. She is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Institute charter holder. Daniella is bilingual, speaking Spanish as a second language.
Throughout her career at Eckler, Daniella has advised clients on actuarial matters relating to pension and benefits plans, investment strategy, and currently has a particular focus on financial modelling and pension risk transfer. She has significant expertise with stochastic modelling through asset/liability studies for pension plans, stop-loss and reserving strategies for benefit plans and the modelling of financial outcomes for capital accumulation plans. Daniella’s experience also extends to the analysis of pension plan asset allocation, investment and manager structures, funding policy and risk management.
