Senior Manager, Total Rewards

At Eckler, we know it’s our people who make us great at what we do. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the Senior Manager, Total Rewards will play a critical role in the design, implementation, delivery enhancement and communication of total rewards programs and initiatives for Eckler. They will be involved in working with business leaders to ensure programs are effective for the attraction and retention of talent and business success.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement total rewards practices and programs aligned with Eckler’s priorities, market best practices, and legislative requirements
  • Build consultative and collaborative relationships across Eckler on total rewards initiatives and identify opportunities for program modification and enhancements, and develop creative and relevant solutions
  • Lead the management of Eckler’s job levelling framework
  • Lead the market intelligence and benchmarking process
  • Lead the annual benefits plan renewal process, including cost analysis, design reviews, and preparation of communication
  • Manage the ongoing enhancement of people- related data, processes and analytics in our HRIS
  • Drive best practices, promote knowledge sharing and close collaboration within the Corporate Services team to ensure consistent interpretation and administration of Total Rewards programs and continuous enhancement of the employee experience
  • Provide oversight of payroll management and benefits administration
  • Partner with finance, legal, etc. on the regulatory and financial aspects of the Total Rewards programs
  • Lead and develop Total Rewards team members
  • Maintain external/internal network and awareness of market/industry trends with respect to total rewards

What you offer:

  • University degree in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline
  • CCP and/or CEBS designation or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive compensation & benefits experience, including plan design,  implementation and communication
  • Experience with implementing and managing job levelling frameworks or job evaluation methodologies
  • Deep specialized knowledge of compensation and benefits program development, implementation and legislation
  • Experience with managing payroll administration and reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, sound judgment, independent and creative thinking with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including cross functional projects and managing various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
  • Expert knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Aptitude to leverage technology for simplification of processes and minimize manual work
  • Bilingual (French/English) a strong asset
