Accounts Payable Coordinator - Toronto


We are looking for a talented and hardworking Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dedicated team of finance professionals. We are seeking a highly motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who has a fine eye for detail and can juggle multiple tasks and deliverables. If you are looking to break into the finance world – or hone in on your skills – then this role may be right for you!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Point person for Toronto AP queries
  • Process all Toronto invoices and expense reports timely and accurately
  • Reviewing and coding of GL accounts and profit centres
  • Processing CAD and USD cheques
  • Investigating AP issues
  • Filing and Scanning
  • Month end closing
  • Analysis and reconciliation of accounts
  • Updating of various schedules
  • Y/E working papers
  • Adhoc Requests and Projects as assigned

Required Skills: 

  • Ability to multitask and to work in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills
  • Previous experience working in a professional services organization is an asset
