Accounts Payable Coordinator - Toronto
We are looking for a talented and hardworking Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dedicated team of finance professionals. We are seeking a highly motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who has a fine eye for detail and can juggle multiple tasks and deliverables. If you are looking to break into the finance world – or hone in on your skills – then this role may be right for you!
Responsibilities will include:
- Point person for Toronto AP queries
- Process all Toronto invoices and expense reports timely and accurately
- Reviewing and coding of GL accounts and profit centres
- Processing CAD and USD cheques
- Investigating AP issues
- Filing and Scanning
- Month end closing
- Analysis and reconciliation of accounts
- Updating of various schedules
- Y/E working papers
- Adhoc Requests and Projects as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to multitask and to work in a deadline-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Previous experience working in a professional services organization is an asset
